 The Importance of Education

Education  is very essential  in life. It is a step by step process of gaining knowledge and set of skills. Knowledge and skills can be acquired through studying books, practical experience or through instruction. It makes education as prime need that should be have by everyone. Therefore, a child has been given education since he was born and still continue until he is adult even to be a dead person. If we have a good education, it will be easy for us to develop and expand it. We can also easily accept and adapt with new knowledge and values that exist around us, such as in family, school, neighborhood, etc. Beside that, education can  make us to be smart and respected one.

Education is that which transforms a person to live a better life and even in a social well being. Education is the one that doing something constructive in our near future. It helps a person to show his best by mind and spirit. It gives a lot of knowledge in whatever aspects. Education plays a vital role in our success in the personal growth. The more we have knowledge the more we grow. Being educated and earning a professional degree prepares us to be a part in reputed organizations, companies or institutions. In today’s competitive world education is necessity for man after food, clothing, and shelter. Education is the solution of any problem, it is the only education which promotes good habits, values and awareness towards anything like terrorism, corruption and many more. Education is the strength to a person and education need to a person. Almost aspects in this world is affected by education.

            Education affects working area. Someone is forced to have skill on his field. Commonly, all companies will have interview before they employe someone. In this interview, there will be some questions related to the educational background. If someone has good educational background, it will help to get a good job that exactly he want and probably it has high salary. On the other way, if someone does not have good educational background make him can not get any job. Highly educated people are also helping the nations to develop. Policy makers and officers are constantly workimg to create a better environment in the society. A nation will not be considered as a powerful nation if it does not have good quality of human resource.

            Education also help us to earn money. Well-educated person will be worthy and he can be easily earn some money, because he has something to offer. To offer that, he must be use his skill and knowledge. Moreover, he should not work hardly that makes him exhausted because he just need to think and process something from his brain. If someone does not have education, he will work hard even use his muscles. Therefore, lack of education and lack of awareness to the value of education can increase jobless people and poverty in the world. It will better if everyone in this world can get good education to make a better life.

            Education has important role in communication. As human being, we should have ability to communicate with other people. Someone should have knowledge how to communicate well such as body language and spoken language. When we communicate with other, it is very important to us to consider our body language and do not show impolite body language. It also work to spoken language, because well-education person will keep politely when he communicates to others. An educated person is more likely to develop good moral and ethical values compared to an uneducated person. Lack of education creates problems like superstition, domestic violence, poor health, and poor living standards. An educated person understands the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Education will bring equal opportunity for both man and women and educated people will be able to create a better society. Educated people are the backbone of a society. Lack of education gives birth to numerous social problems like poor health, internal conflict, poor living standards and many more. Only educated people can realize the value of the organization, infrastructure, and healthcare. Only educated people will be able to form a clean and healthy society. Right education will help the normal people to find a better solution to their problems.

            Education also affects the era. We live in modern era now, so everything is (canggih) including technology. Technology fills the life of people in the world, even simple and small thing use high technology. Because of  the increasing of technology, we need knowledge to make it balance. To lead and operate technology which is difficult, we should have education. By having education, it will be easy for us to take control and use the technology even get benefit from it.

            Education also indicate the successful life. Success person can be worthy to others. In other words, he can help others. Educated person has knowledge and many things that can be given to others. It is not possible for an uneducated person to take the right decision. An uneducated person can develop bad habits, lower self-esteem, and frustration. Only through right education, a person can develop good quality moral values and ethical values.

            We should get a good quality formal education in order to access our full potential. If we are preparing for our future, we should complete our formal education elementary school until university. Only good quality university know the right way to prepare a good citizen. We need to get good quality education for our personal growth as well. All the big organizations are looking for people, who are highly trained and have special skills. Without proper education, we will not be able to serve an organization or reach our full potential.

            It is not possible for an uneducated person to be fully aware of his responsibilities. Only an educated person is aware of his personal as well as social responsibilities. An uneducated person is more likely to become a big burden or a liability to this society, who doesn’t have anything to give back to this society. Proper education teaches a person to think beyond their personal interest and also provides him the ability to give something back to the society. As a social being, it is your responsibility to give something back the society and make something better for the next generation.

            In education, teachers also have important role. In school, students should be guided and taught to make them improve themselves. Teachers need skill to build moral and good character of the students. Teacher should give their full attention to every student. Its not just about cognitive aspect, but also affective and skill aspect.

            Many years ago, teachers just taught and asked students to remember all the lesson and repeated it again. Students were not given chance to improve their ability in the classroom. As the result, students will be passive even they never give any questions or comments in the class. We can conclude that teachers still lack of ability to build and motivate students in learning process. That is why all educational aspects keep working to improve the education system.

            Besides giving knowledge in the classroom, teachers also become role model to their students. Everything that is done by the tachers will be imitated by their students. Many students especially teenager students can not differentiate between bad and good. They also can not make wise decision in life. They can not think abstractly and need something concrete. Teachers have a role to teach students to be discipline, polite, honest, and responsible. Teachers also have to apply it to daily life, so students instantly imitate them. If teachers models bad behave, students probably imitate it too.

            Now, education has many improvements. There are lots of innovation in material, media, facilitaties, teaching techniques and strategies. Students also have chance to share their opinion and improve themselves. Students can be active and motivated. As the result, there are many qualified students and students also have good achievement in the class.

            Without educated  people, this world can not become a better place. Be it searching for the alternative energy resource or finding the right way to conserve the natural resources. Without proper education, a person will destroy all the natural resources. That is why proper education is needed to turn this world into a better place.

Previously having access to good quality education was tough and there was lack of proper resources. Now students can easily find colleges through the online educational portal. Education  is the basic right of every human being and easy access to education has become a necessity, for the development of the nation.
