The teaching learning process should be conducted in well and conducive atmosphere. The students in the class feel at home in taking part, every of them should support good learning. Nevertheless, the class can be bad condition while the students feel depressed. One of the triggerer is bullying that is done by among them consciously or unconsciously. Their intention is for cheerfulness, but it can be exaggerating so that this condition creates the problem in their learning in the class. Bullying itself is seen as a subject of aggressive behavior (Olweus, 1999), that is expressed in an open, direct way. For those who feel stress because of bullying, it will give bad effect for them ending with suicide.
1.Symptoms of bullying
As a parent sometimes we don’t know if the child is being a victim of bullying. It is because we are not sensitive or because they are afraid if confessing the bullying victims then the parents will be disappointed, said Jerry Weichman, PhD, a psychologist with specializations in teenagers and children from Hoang Neurosciences Institute, Newport Beach, California. Some of the symptoms of bullying are, hard to concentrate, often attending school, distance from self-activity, appearing restless, or even bruises and wounds on the face or body of children. From some of the symptoms we can see if a child becomes a victim of bullying or not without waiting for the child to tell us.
2.Reasons of bullying triggerer
Some of the triggers of children become legitimate according to Sejiwa (2008), among others, because they have been victims of bullying, want to show self-existence, negative television shows, and others. The reason for being a victim of bullying is a form of revenge for having been a victim, they wants other people to feel what they feels. In the form as showing the existence of oneself as the same thing with wanting others to know about the existence and power that they have. While the negative influence of television shows causes them to be accustomed to violence and want to imitate the activities displayed on television, supervision from parents includes being important to monitor the shows watched by children so that they are not affected by television shows.
3.How the effect of bullying to the victims
The effect of bullying on its victims is not only a negative effect, but there are also positive effect. The result of a study conducted by the National Youth Violence Prevention Resource Center Sanders (2003; in Anesty, 2009) showed that bullying can make teenagers feel anxious and fearful, influence the concentration of learning in school and lead them to avoid school. From these negative effects, there are some positive effect of bullying, among others: stronger in dealing with problems, more motivated to show potential so that they are not demeaned anymore, and motivated to do self-introspection.
