The teaching learning process should be conducted in well and conducive atmosphere. The students in the class feel at home in talking part, every of them should support good learning. Nevertheless, the class can be bad condition while the students feel depressed. One of the triggerer is bullying that is done by among them consciously or unconsciously. Their intention is for cheerfulness, but it can be exaggerating so that this condition creates the problem in their learning in the class. Bullying itself is seen as a subset of aggressive behavior (Olweus, 1999), that is expressed in a open, direct way. For those who feel stress because of bullying, it will give bad effect for them ending with suicide.
Cited from liputan6.com, some psychologies researchers show that many bullies are students who have broken home family. The disharmony in students’ family make them lack of attentive and affection, so they look for another thing outside without know if thing they do is right or not. Another reasons of bullying triggered are because the bullies feel that they are better than others they are bully, whether it is better in economic grades, appearance, or other else. Bullying triggered can also come from students who have bullied in their past, so it is such as a revenge about what other people had done to them, and they vent it through the wrong way.
Beside of the bullies, symptoms experienced by students who are bullying may be physical, emotional and behavioral. Elisa Borsteindottir (2014) on her research said that the symptoms of bullying can be seen from students’ desire to leave school, students feeling bad during class, and students’ feeling like they are an outsider during school. Reported from liputan6.com, social minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa (2014) revealed that as many as 40% Indonesian students committed suicide because of bullying. That case proves that the symptoms of bullying is very dangerous.
Students who are bullies and the others who get bully tend to experience depression more than their peers who have not been involved in bullying, which can lead them to academic problems, frequent absences from school, and loneliness. They are also at risk of substance abuse and dropping out of school. However, the researchers indicate that the risk of both thoughts and attempts at suicide seem to be higher for girl victims and girl bullies no matter how infrequent the bullying occurs.
