The teaching learning process should be conducted in well and conducive atmosphere. The students in class feel at home in taking part, every of them support good learning. Nevertheless, the class can be bad condition while the students feel depresed. One of triggerer is bullying that is done by among them consciously or unconsciously. Their intention is for cheerfulness, but it can be exaggerating so that this condition creates the problem in their learning in the class. Bullying itself is seen as subset of agreesive behaviour (Olweus,1999), that is expressed ina open, direct way. For these who feel stress because of bullying, it will give bad effect for them ending with suicide.
From the statement of Najam and Kashif (2018) states that bullying is a social phenomenon that uses violence, threats, ridicule or coercion to intimidate others who are often seen in schools, colleges, or even workplaces. However, maybe at first the bullying was just a joke. But in the long term, bullying can have a negative impact on other people or victims physically and mentally. One of the important reasons for triggering bullying is the lower ability of empathy. According to Rachmah (2014), the inability of the perpetrators to empathize causes them to be less able to see from the perspective of others, recognize the feelings of others and adjust their concerns appropriately. And also, tend to commit acts of violence on people or victims. Actually, Empathy has been owned by humans since they were babies, but the empathy of these actors has not been developed in their environment or the parenting style given by parents is wrong.
The effects of bullying to the victims are very diverse. One of Alexander's statements (quoted by SEJIWA, 2008) explains that bullying is a public health problem that needs attention because people who are victims of bullying are likely to suffer from depression and lack of confidence. However, there are also other effects that bullying can’t actualize her child because children become timid, nervous, excited into a quiet, easy-sensitive, aloof, being rude and revenge, prone to anxiety, nightmares, doing the bullying behavior back toward others. And also, the terrible effect for victims of bullying is suicide. Which they feel is severe depression and there is no handling and support from parents, psychologists, friends and schools, so the victims might make a path which they think can solve the problem, namely by suicide.
Bullying toward students' learning development often occurs in school. One of the main effects of bullying is causing depression for affected victims. So that it can affect the level of academic excellence and student learning outcomes that decline in school. Victims are no longer interested in the field of academics and on many occasions fail to attend classes because of the negative effects of bullying in their lives (Chalmers et al, 2016). If it is not addressed by parents, schools and other interested parties, then this will be a big problem in the future.
